The Finnish Climate Change Panel’s latest report assesses options for developing the EU climate policy framework beyond 2030 with a focus on the EU Emissions Trading System. The report assesses four scenarios for the EU post-2030 climate policy based on economic modelling and legal analysis. It provides information on the impacts of different policy options on Finland and, more broadly, across the EU. Based on the analysis, the Finnish Climate Change Panel provides policymakers three key recommendations for developing EU Emissions Trading System.
