Purpose of data processing
Communication with stakeholders is an important part of the Finnish Climate Change Panel’s work. Our stakeholders include the background organisations and other research institutions of the Panel’s members, public administration officials, representatives of political parties and organisations, and media representatives. We engage with our stakeholders in various ways, such as through information exchange and communication, and the events we organise.
Personal data processed
The Finnish Climate Change Panel maintains contact details and other information on stakeholders for the purpose of stakeholder cooperation. The most common information stored about stakeholder representatives includes name, email address, organisation and title. The personal data we process is collected from publicly available sources, such as stakeholder websites, or when you register for events we have organised.
Processing and disclosure of data
The data contained in the stakeholder register is processed by the staff of the Finnish Climate Change Panel’s secretariat. The Finnish Climate Change Panel will not disclose any information, except for where required by the security regulations of the event venue. For those who have given consent at events, the list of participants may be distributed to other participants at the event.
